An AIFS Abroad virtual internship is a remote, professional work experience completed online with an internationally based employer. Virtual interns gain real-world professional skills, global workplace exposure, and resume-building experience from anywhere in the world. 

Virtual interns are matched with a host company and complete assigned projects and responsibilities remotely, typically over an 8 or 12-week period. Communication with supervisors and colleagues takes place via email, video calls, and other digital tools. 

The AIFS Abroad internship placement process is the same as our full-time in-person internships and virtual interns receive support every step of the way.
