AIFS and the Cyril Taylor Charitable Foundation (CTCF)

AIFS Abroad is a program of The American Institute For Foreign Study (AIFS), a charity-owned organization that has been a leader in cultural exchange and education for over 60 years.

AIFS is also the sole funder of the Cyril Taylor Charitable Foundation (CTCF), named in honor of founder Sir Cyril Taylor, which is dedicated to advancing international education and cultural exchange in all its forms. In 2025 alone, the CTCF awarded $2.1 million to 30 nonprofit organizations worldwide, including AFS International Intercultural Programs, Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village, Cultural Vistas, Fund for Education Abroad, Global Glimpse, Institute of International Education (IIE) and the UK-US Fulbright Commission. These grants support programs ranging from scholarships for underserved students to educational opportunities for refugees and community enrichment projects.
