Joel has been working in international education since 2014 with the majority of the experience in university relations. In the field, Joel has worked for two study abroad providers and has worked with virtually every single state in the US during his decade plus in those roles. He greatly values the field and the work that we all do, and is especially passionate about building strong, sustainable, and collaborative partnerships that always center the student and their experience first. Joel has a depth of experience in leading site visits, data analytics, higher education, and curriculum integration. Joel holds a BA in French and International Studies from Loyola University Chicago, which included a year-long study abroad program in Pau, France. He also holds an MA in French from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.
