Spend a summer studying and traveling across four European countries and five cities with AIFS! Spend 6 nights in London, 6 nights in Berlin, 3 nights in Prague, 3 nights in Kraków and 5 nights in Warsaw.
The AIFS inclusive program fee includes all of the great features below in addition to many pre-departure, on-site and upon-return services to help students make the most of their time abroad.

Accommodation in twin and triple rooms in student residences or tourist-class hotels on a bed and breakfast basis in each location
Breakfast is included throughout. One group meal each in Berlin, Prague, Kraków and Warsaw and occasional group lunches per the itinerary. Students need to budget for all other meals.
Guided tours by local experts, museum visits and excursions to places of historical, academic and cultural interest
who will be with the group throughout the program and be available to provide local information, answer questions, take care of logistics and deal with emergencies

Day 2 | Arrive in London. Transfer to London residence.* Orientation meeting with AIFS staff including preparation for course content and discussion on trauma. |
Day 3 | Morning class followed by guided sightseeing tour of London. Welcome dinner. |
Day 4 | Morning class followed by a visit to the Holocaust Exhibition at the Imperial War Museum. |
Day 5 | Morning class followed by a free afternoon. |
Day 6 | Visit to the Weiner Library for the Study of the Holocaust and Genocide for a talk and a visit to the temporary exhibition on the International Tracing Service. Afternoon class. |
Day 7 | Study day. |
Day 8 | Transfer from London residence to the airport for flight to Berlin. Sightseeing tour followed by a group dinner. |
Day 9 | Morning class. Afternoon self-guided visit to the Topography of Terror exhibit. |
Day 10 | Morning class followed by a walking tour of the Jewish sector to include the site of the Old Synagogue; Womens’ Protest Memorial; Hackesche Höfe; Otto Weidt courtyard; Old Cemetery site (Moses Mendelssohn’s burial place); Jewish Boys’ School; New Synagogue and Bebelplatz (site of the Nazi book burning). |
Day 11 | Morning class followed by an afternoon visit to Sachsenhausen Memorial by public transportation with audio guides. |
Day 12 | Morning class followed by a guided tour of the House of the Wannsee Conference. |
Day 13 | Morning seminar at the German Resistance Memorial Center. Free afternoon. |
Day 14 | Transfer from Berlin to Prague with a visit to Terezin Concentration Camp and tour of the ghetto en route including a packed lunch. Check into accommodation in Prague. |
Day 15 | Guided walking tour of Prague Old Town, including the famed Charles Bridge and a tour of a local brewery including a group lunch. |
Day 16 | Morning class followed by entrance to the Jewish Museum including a guided walking tour of the Jewish quarter. |
Day 17 | Morning class followed by a transfer from Prague to Kraków through the beautiful Moravia wine region with a group lunch en route. Check into accommodation in Kraków. |
Day 18 | Guided tour of Kazimierz where more than 70,000 Jews lived before World War II, including visits to the Old Synagogue Museum and the ‘Schindler’s Factory’ museum. Dinner at a traditional Polish restaurant. |
Day 19 | Morning class followed by free time to explore Kraków. |
Day 20 | Transfer from Kraków to Warsaw with a guided tour of Auschwitz and Birkenau en route. Check into accommodation in Warsaw. |
Day 21 | Visit to Lazienki Palace and Botanic Gardens, balance of the day free. |
Day 22 | Half-day excursion from Warsaw to Treblinka Extermination Camp including a group lunch. |
Day 23 | Morning class followed by a tour of the Warsaw Ghetto including entrance to the Jewish Cemetery and visit to the POLIN Museum of the History of the Polish Jews. |
Day 24 | Morning final review session followed by a free afternoon. Farewell group dinner. |
Day 25 | Optional return flight from Warsaw to the U.S.* |

Students can select an optional transportation package for all AIFS programs. Students who choose to book their own flights should meet up with group at the program location and will need to make their own ground transportation arrangements.
