During her time in Ely, apart from music, sport was the center of her focus. She coxed in the rowing club, took part in the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme, and competed for her house in the ‘Martin Doyle’ a physically challenging combination of running, swimming, canoeing, climbing, archery, shooting, and assault course.
After school, she decided to learn to cook, moved to Italy, and spent a gruelling year as an apprentice in a top-ranked Florentine restaurant.
She took up studying languages and translation at Florence and Brussels universities. She is now back in Italy.
Before joining AIFS she taught English to children, developing innovative methodologies including cookery.
She has a small rescue dog named Daisy and two cats, Lilo & Stich! She enjoys travelling, cooking, repairing cars, spending time with valued friends, and driving in 4×4 off-road adventures.
