Although Belfast born and bred, I first moved to England to study French and Spanish at Royal Holloway, University of London, where I myself was an Erasmus study abroad student. Following my Bachelor’s degree, I worked abroad in English language education for several years, in both Spain and China, before returning to the UK to undertake postgraduate study at the University of Edinburgh. I then went on to a short career in historic building conservation, working across the UK and Ireland, before moving back to London in 2021. Since August 2022 I have been employed at AIFS Abroad as Program Manager responsible for France and Spain.
