Andrea is an unconventional professional with a diverse background and a passion for higher education. Born and raised in Rome, Italy, Andrea later became a naturalized US Citizen and spent 15 years residing in Rhode Island until 2023. With a degree in graphic design, Andrea’s career journey began in publishing before transitioning to photography and cinematography, earning three Emmy nominations during tenure at PBS. Always harboring a desire to work in higher education and eager to return to Italy to raise a family, Andrea seized the opportunity to join AIFS in Rome as the Internship Coordinator. In this role, Andrea provides support to visiting interns and cultivates partnerships with local businesses to offer enriching learning experiences. Andrea’s unique blend of creativity, cultural insight, and dedication to education ensures a dynamic and impactful internship program in the heart of Rome.
