Cultural activities

A wide variety of social and cultural events organized by the AIFS staff are included in the fee. Events in the past have included:

• Welcome reception
• Walking tours of the Marais district, Montmartre, the Conciergerie, (where Marie Antoinette was held during the revolution), the Sainte Chapelle, Père Lachaise cemetery (where Jim Morrison is buried), the Catacombs and the Latin Quarter
• Visits to the Hôtel de Ville, Rodin Museum, Paris Opera area and Perfume Museum
• A Bateaux Mouches trip along the Seine River
• Day trips to Giverny, Chartres, Chateaux of Vaux-le-Vicomte and Versailles
• Da Vinci Code walking tour around central Paris to discover some of the monuments and districts described in Dan Brown’s bestselling book

Please note that some schedule conflicts between cultural activities and certain classes may be unavoidable.
