Senya Lubisich
Professor of History
Senya Lubisich earned her Ph.D. in European and World History at the University of California, Riverside. Her research examined the Charity Workshops that were established under the Ancien Régime and continued through the Revolutionary era as a response to poverty and labor demands.
She has held a full-time faculty position at Citrus College in Glendora, California since 2004 and has served in a variety of leadership positions on campus, including Coordinator of Online Teaching and Learning.
Travel is a value for Senya, her husband, and five children. In addition to living abroad and being a “study abroad parent”, Senya has led multiple Study Abroad programs to Italy, France, Japan, and Spain. She is an active faculty member in recruiting and supporting Study Abroad at Community Colleges and strives to bring the opportunity and privilege of Study Abroad to the under-represented and under-served student populations.
