As part of her university degree, Nicola spent her study abroad year in Granada, Spain, where her passion for international education was born. After returning to Ireland to complete her studies, Nicola jumped on the first plane back to Granda where she spent 6 years teaching English and immersing herself in the Granaíno way of life. Since then, Nicola has worked in the areas of student wellbeing and support in tertiary education settings while always promoting study abroad opportunities. Nicola joined the Barcelona AIFS team in July 2022. In her role as Head of Student Services, Nicola strives to support students through each stage of their study abroad journey to ensure they go home feeling enriched and with a little piece of Spain in their hearts.
