Study Abroad in Athens, Greece

Program Fees - January Term 2018

AIFS All-Inclusive Program Fee: $4,195

  • Tuition — 3 semester credits
  • Housing —double rooms in student apartments in The American College of Greece student residence complex. Internet access is included
  • Meals — allowance to subsidize the cost of lunch Monday through Friday. Students will have fully-equipped kitchens in their apartment plus a supply of breakfast items and snacks for the initial few days
  • Cultural and Social Activities – A program of events such as a guided walking tour of Athens, visits to the famed Acropolis and Parthenon, visits to the Plaka, local markets and traditional Greek food tasting nights
  • Delphi and the Sanctuary of Apollo (day trip) – Ancient Delphi, on the slopes of Mount Parnassus is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its magnificent setting. Transport, local guides and a traditional four-course lunch in a Greek taverna are included.
  • Welcome Reception and Orientation – welcome reception, guided campus tour and orientation meeting with welcome pack (maps and local information) and introduction to the international office staff and the AIFS Resident Director
  • Comprehensive Insurance and Assistance Package
  • Personalized Assistance by the AIFS Admissions Team in the U.S. to help you prepare for your study abroad experience
  • Pre-Departure Resources including an information handbook and online AIFS account to help you manage your application and planning
  • On-site Resident Director and Support Staff to help with any questions or advice you may need while in Athens. AIFS operates a 24-hour emergency telephone service so that local staff can always be reached in an emergency situation. The Study Abroad Office at The American College of Greece also has a dedicated team of professionals ready to assist students and orient them to the campus and life in Athens
  • Official Transcript — Upon completion of your program, a transcript issued by DEREE The American College of Greece will be sent to your home institution

Please note fee does not include the non-refundable $95 application fee and $250 refundable damage deposit. Students choosing the standard option with no flight package are responsible for making their way to and from campus by the scheduled program dates.

Program with optional AIFS Flight Package

For your convenience, AIFS will arrange your round-trip airfare (including all fuel surcharges, taxes and fees), meet you at the arrival airport(s) and provide transportation to and from the program site on scheduled arrival and departure dates. Prices for this option include:
