Diversity Abroad Achievement Scholarship– offered by AIFS

Fall Semester: $5,000/up to 3 awards

Spring Semester: $5,000/up to 3 awards

AIFS has partnered with DiversityAbroad.com to offer special scholarships for AIFS students. Each semester, AIFS offers two $5,000 scholarships to outstanding students from underrepresented groups. Applicants must demonstrate high academic achievement and/or participate in community service activities.

Deadlines: Completed scholarship and program applications must be postmarked or sent via email by the following deadlines:
Fall Semester: April 15
Spring Semester: October 15



Diversity Abroad Overseas Ambassador Scholarship– offered by AIFS

Fall Semester: $500/up to 5 awards

Spring Semester: $500/up to 5 awards

Summer: $500/up to 2 awards

AIFS has partnered with DiversityAbroad.com to offer special scholarships for AIFS students. AIFS offers five $500 scholarships each semester and two $500 scholarships for summer programs to outstanding students from underrepresented groups. Applicants must be willing to share their experiences abroad with the DiversityAbroad.com community via blogs, picture and videos (at least twice a week) on social media, and do a testimonial at the end of their time abroad. HACU-AIFS Scholarship

Semester or Summer: up to 50% off program fee

In association with the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU), AIFS offers scholarships for Hispanic students from HACU member institutions. Students will receive a scholarship of up to 50% of the AIFS semester or summer program fee. Awards will be made in conjunction with the HACU advisory board. Visit www.HACU.net to see if your institution qualifies.

Eligibility: Hispanic students who attend a HACU member institution

Cyril Taylor Memorial Scholarship

Fall Semester 2020: $5,000/scholarship
Summer 2020: $3,750/scholarship
Academic Year 2020-2021: $10,000/scholarship

Fulbright Summer Institute Scholarship

Each year the U.S. - U.K. Fulbright Commission offers special Summer Institutes which give U.S. undergraduates the opportunity to attend an academic program at a highly regarded U.K. University. The AIFS Globe Education Theater program was honored to be selected as a Fulbright Summer Institute.

Scholarship winners will study for a summer session at the London Globe Education Theater program.


Grants


Affiliate Grant

Semester: $400
Summer: $200

Over 400 colleges and universities are affiliated with AIFS, which helps make the process of applying for an AIFS program easy, and may provide access to special affiliate scholarships. Students from affiliate institutions may automatically receive $400 grants for semester programs and $200 grants for summer programs. Others may apply for scholarships administered by their study abroad office.

Study Again with AIFS Grant

If you studied abroad on an AIFS summer program, you will receive a $1,000 grant to study abroad on an AIFS semester or academic year catalog program, or a $500 grant toward a summer catalog program.

If you studied abroad on an AIFS semester or academic year program, you will receive a $500 grant toward a summer catalog program or a $1,000 grant toward a semester program in a different academic year.

U.S. Veterans Grant

For students eligible to receive GI Bill education benefits, AIFS will provide a $500 grant for semester programs and $250 for summer or January-term programs.


Discounts


AIFS Family Discount

AIFS Study Abroad offers a $500 program discount to students whose immediate family members (siblings or parents) have participated in or used other AIFS programs, including the Summer Institute for the Gifted, ACIS, Au Pair in America and Academic Year in America.
