Optional overnight flight from the U.S. to London*

Friday, December 30

Arrive in London. Transfer to accommodation.*Students making their own travel arrangements should also arrive on this day. Time to settle in.

Morning class. Afternoon visit to the National Gallery

Sunday, January 1

Free morning. Afternoon sightseeing tour with a professional guide. See Londonís famous sights including Piccadilly Circus in the heart of the West End, the Houses of Parliament on the banks of the Thames and Buckingham Palace

Monday, January 2

Morning class. Late afternoon Eurostar train from London to Paris

Tuesday, January 3

Morning class. Afternoon visit to the DíOrsay Museum. Evening river cruise along the Seine

Wednesday, January 4

Morning visit to the Louvre. Afternoon visit to the Pompidou Center

Thursday, January 5

Morning class. Free afternoon

Friday, January 6

Morning transfer by train to Nice. Balance of day free

Saturday, January 7

Morning visit to the Matisse Museum. Balance of day free

Sunday, January 8

Morning train to Milan by private bus. Balance of day free

Monday, January 9

Morning guided walking tour of Milan, including entrance to the Cathedral.
Afternoon class

Tuesday, January 10

Morning visit to the Brera Museum. Afternoon transfer to Venice by train

Wednesday, January 11

Morning walking tour, including the Bridge of Sighs, St. Markís Square and entrance to the Church of Frari.
Afternoon class

Thursday, January 12

Morning visit to the Guggenheim Museum, which holds an important collection of modern art, including works by Picasso, Mirů, Kandinsky and Pollock. Afternoon transfer to Florence by train

Morning class. Afternoon guided tour of the Uffizi Gallery

Saturday, January 14

Morning class. Afternoon visit to the Accademia Gallery

Sunday, January 15

Morning transfer to Rome by train. Early afternoon guided visit to the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill

Monday, January 16

Morning class. Afternoon visit to the Vatican and its museums

Tuesday, January 17

Morning final assessment of the academic program. Afternoon free
