Optional Components
Visa
Students with U.S. passports are visa exempt. You may report to an Immigration Officer at a port of entry (Cape Town or Johannesburg International Airports) without a visa, provided you have the following with you on arrival:
- A letter from Stellenbosch University confirming the duration and purpose of your stay, and acceptance to the program. (Stellenbosch University will issue a Letter of Admission for this purpose).
- Passport valid for no less than 30 days after the end of your intended visit and containing at least one blank page for endorsements.
- A valid return or onward flight ticket.
