Moscow (3 days)

Visit Russia’s magnificent capital city, which will celebrate its 875th birthday in 2022. Your trip to Moscow includes:

- Guided sightseeing tour and Kremlin tour
Catherine Palace or Pavlovsk Palace (day trip)
Included in program fee
Explore the stunning Catherine Palace in Pushkin or the 18th-century Russian Imperial residence in Pavlovsk, both near St. Petersburg. The following are included:
- Round-trip transportation
- Guided tour and entrance fees to one of the palaces and parks
Peterhof (day trip)
Included in program fee
Enjoy exploring the magnificent gardens and celebrated fountains at the summer residence of the Tzars in Peterhof, near St. Petersburg. The following are included:
- Round-trip transportation
- Guided tour of the park and entrance fees
Veliky Novgorod or Vyborg (day trip)
Included in program fee
Visit the heart of ancient Russia during an excursion to Veliky Novgorod or the 13thcentury Swedish castle and art-deco buildings in Vyborg. The following are included:
- Round-trip transportation
- Guided tour and entrance fees to either the Veliky Novgorod Kremlin or Vyborg Castle
Optional Excursion to Helsinki, Finland and Tallinn, Estonia (4 days, $595)
Visit the heart of the Baltic region during a trip from St. Petersburg that includes:
- Accommodations
- Round-trip transportation
- Breakfast
- Guided sightseeing tours in Helsinki and Tallinn
- A minimum enrollment of 10 students is required for the excursion to run
Dates and itineraries for all excursions are tentative and subject to change. Students must enroll and pay for the optional excursions in the U.S. by the final payment deadline. Once paid for, excursions are non-refundable except in the event of cancellation by AIFS.
