Renata joined AIFS Prague in 2014 as the Resident Director Assistant, soon became the Deputy Resident Director and the RD for Summer programs, and in 2019 the AIFS Prague Resident Director.
Renata has substantial experience in the news and media industry. She worked for 8 years as an Assistant to the Daily Telegraph correspondent based in Prague, where they covered the events of the Velvet Revolution. Later as an Executive Assistant of the Head of the Analytical Department at Open Media Research Institute in Prague, she assisted with coverage of the transition of the Czech society to democracy. At the same time, she acted as an Office Manager for 30 staff analysts. In November 2009, Ranata honed her organizational skills as the Prague Coordinator of the Annual Globa Conference of ILA, International Leadership Association based in Maryland, US. She also freelanced as an interpreter and fixer for film crews from BBC and ARD.
Over many years Renata gained hands-on experience in event management and the general catering industry acting as a catering manager and by running her floral arrangements company. In the distant past, as a college student and a fresh graduate, Renata volunteered as a leader of many International Summer Camps organized in the Czech Republic for western participants, mainly college students.”
