Peter has a background as a secondary school teacher and working with intellectual disability. Prior to joining Global Experiences he completed many short and long term election observation missions with the EU in Africa and Asia. He has worked as a tour guide with the Historical Walking Tours of Dublin for many years and as a consultant on local and national heritage projects. He is a volunteer with Le Cheile youth mentoring and is on the committee of Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia Ireland and ASAPI, Association of Study Abroad Providers in Ireland. Peter is director of GE’s Dublin program and also the newly launched one in Galway and established the program in Stockholm. He has led a variety of short study and internship programs and works closely with the university’s team and university partners to develop new internship fields.
