Katie began working in international education in 2011 and has held positions in education abroad at the George Washington University, the University of Tampa as an Education Abroad Advisor, and the University of South Florida as a Program Manager and a Curriculum Integration Administrator. Before working in international education, she worked for a year with the Embassy of Japan in Washington, DC. She has also taught first year seminar courses and co-led short term study abroad programs with university students. She is presently part of NAFSA’s Trainer Corps. Katie joined AIFS in 2021.
