Raised and born in Caracas, Venezuela, Anna completed her studies in Communications and Audiovisual Arts to pursue a career as a producer. However, life took an unexpected turn when she made the decision, at the age of 22, to move to Italy as an Au Pair for a period of 6 months. Little did she know that those initial months would turn into 9 years spent in the beautiful city of Florence.
During her time in Florence, Anna worked as an Event and Marketing Manager for a hospitality company. It was during this period that she had the opportunity to meet Global Experiences in 2018, and instantly fell in love with their mission of helping others have a remarkable internship experience on foreign soil.
In 2022, Anna was appointed as the Program Advisor for all Italian locations (Milan, Florence, and Rome) by AIFS Abroad. This role not only allowed her to find her true calling in life but also gave her a sense of purpose – facilitating the lives of individuals during their time abroad.
Anna’s journey serves as a testament to the unpredictable nature of life and the profound impact that following one’s passion can have on shaping a fulfilling career.
