Amy is originally from the UK, but has lived, studied, and worked abroad throughout her life. After studying Spanish at university, including a year abroad teaching English with the British Council in Chile, she went on to work in international event management and experiential marketing in London and Dubai.
Amy joined AIFS in 2023, and loves working with the team in Barcelona to provide meaningful experiences and friendly support to students. She enjoys sharing the things she loves about the Barcelona, especially the traditional culture and art, and experiencing new things with the students.
Amy has a lot of first-hand experience of muddling through in a foreign language, coping with culture shock, and feeling far from home – and now loves to help others make the most of these new experiences and opportunities.
