Day Trip to Wicklow and Glendalough

Included in program fee

Travel out of Dublin and into the countryside, to the beautiful Wicklow Mountains and Glendalough where you will see round towers and Celtic crosses, waterfalls and beautiful scenery in this spectacular area known as the Garden of Ireland. This excursion will also include a visit to Kilkenny.

Game of Thrones Day Trip

Included in program fee

You will have a morning trek in Tollymore Forest and an afternoon trek at Winterfell in the Castle Ward Estate. You will also visit Strangford, Inch Abbey, Ballynahinch and Dromore, all key locations used for the filming of this popular TV series.

Optional Excursion to Galway (2 nights - $325)

Taking a train from Dublin you will stay for 2 nights in Galway (breakfast is included) and enjoy a Galway city walking tour, visit to the Aran Islands and a group meal with traditional music. Galway is a medieval city which today is full of colorful, cozy pubs and artisan shops and has a quirky, artsy vibe which its student population strives to maintain. You may even hear the locals speaking Irish Gaelic, a form of Celtic language.

A minimum of 6 students is required for this optional excursion to run.
