Intern Abroad in Berlin: Fees

The Program Fees Include:
- Tuition—6 semester credits
- Housing—Double or single room in a shared apartment
- Meals—Mensa meal card to subsidize lunches in the low-cost university cafeterias
- Cultural and social activities such as: visit to World Heritage site Museum Island, a boat trip, cinema, open-air theater, Checkpoint Charlie, memorial of former concentration camp Sachsenhausen
- Excursions:
- Transportation pass for greater Berlin
- Health and Safety—24/7 emergency support and comprehensive insurance
- Student support including the services of a pre-departure Student Advisory Center and an on-site Resident Director
- Pre-departure handbook
Please note, program fee does not include the non-refundable $95 application fee. Students not taking the AIFS Flight Package are responsible for making their way to and from campus by the scheduled program dates.

For your convenience, AIFS will arrange your round-trip airfare (including all fuel surcharges, taxes and fees), meet you at the arrival airport(s) and provide transportation to and from the program site on scheduled arrival and departure dates.
