AIFS Program at a Glance - Fall 2020 & Spring 2021
- Academic Year (all programs except Internship), Fall or Spring Semester
- London Internship program also available
- Open to college freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors
- Minimum 2.5 GPA
- Program fee includes tuition, housing, some meals, orientation workshops, cultural and social activities, trips to Stonehenge and Cambridge, and more. Optional AIFS Flight Package available.
- Courses include accounting, American studies, art, design and media, art history, British studies, business, Chinese, communications, creative writing, criminology, development studies, economics, entrepreneurship, European studies, fashion, film, finance, history, international business, international journalism, international relations, literature, management, marketing, media studies, photography, politics, psychology, public relations, religion, sociology and theater
- On-Site Resident Director and staff organize cultural activities and housing, act as a liaison between students and the university, and are available 24/7 in case of emergencies

Application and Scholarship Deadlines
AIFS Study Abroad Scholarships available!
The scholarship deadline is April 15 for the Academic Year/Fall Semester and October 1 for the Spring Semester.
Visa
All full year and internship students are required to obtain a student visa before departure. Once your final payment is received, AIFS will provide instructions to help you secure the visa. Due to the time this takes, we advise you to apply early.

Originally from New Hampshire, I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire and my master’s degree from the University of Bridgeport. As an undergraduate, I studied abroad in Brisbane, Australia, which sparked my passion for international study and travel. After graduating from UNH, I returned to Australia for three months, volunteering for a non-profit in Sydney. Upon my return, I sought a job in international education and joined AIFS in 2006.
