She is an active member of the Association for Business Communication, an international, interdisciplinary organization committed to advancing business communication research, education, and practice, and serves as the organization’s Eastern United States Regional Vice President.
A New York native, Nancy earned a master’s and doctorate in communication from the Pennsylvania State University. Her interest in and appreciation for intercultural education and communication stems from her experiences as a child of an adult immigrant to the United States. The opportunity at a young age to experience other cultures heightened Nancy’s awareness of the enormous benefits individuals gain by engaging in international experiences and educational programs.
