AIFS in Barbados Resident Director, Summer Program
AIFS students have access to a local Resident Director who provides advice and support throughout the program. The AIFS Resident Director for this program will be appointed several months in advance, at which time their name and contact information will be posted.
Housing and Meals
Residence Halls
The residence is situated within five minutes’ walk of the main campus, with easy access to grocery stores, Bridgetown and nearby beaches.
- Single rooms in suites of 4
- Shared kitchen, living, dining and bathroom facilities
- Laundry facilities available
Meals
- A meal allowance is provided to cover breakfast and lunch daily on campus and In local cafés
Internet access is included in all AIFS housing in Bridgetown
Cultural Activities
To help you get a true taste of Bajan culture, a range of cultural activities and excursions are included in your program fee. Activities may include:
- Boat trip
- Visit to slavery and emancipation exhibits at Barbados Museum
- Visit to National Heroes Square
- Tour of George Washington House
- Visits to local beaches
- Farewell dinner
