London, England (2 Nights)

Get to know your fellow students before traveling to campus and take a sightseeing tour with a professional guide who will point out some of London’s famous landmarks including Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament and the Tower of London. You will also have free time to visit museums, see a play or stroll in London’s beautiful parks.

Includes accommodations, breakfast and sightseeing as indicated. Lunch and dinner are not included.

Vienna (3 Days)

The traditional heart of the Habsburg Empire, Vienna is the dynamic capital of central Europe and center for international diplomacy, finance and culture.

Travel by train across Austria from Salzburg to Vienna. Afternoon walking tour to see the major sights of historic Vienna. Enjoy free time in the evening to explore independently.

The next morning, take a guided tour of the Kunsthistorische (Art History) Museum, which contains one of the world’s finest art collections. Afternoon and evening free to explore more of the city (visit cafés, museums, theaters, musical events or other night life).

On the third day, visit Schönbrunn Castle, former residence of Habsburg Emperors before returning to Salzburg.

Munich, Germany (Day trip)

This popular destination for university students retains its Bavarian Gemütlichkeit, or easy-going charm.

Take a walking tour of the city center to see the most famous sites including the Glockenspiel in the Marienplatz and the old Rathaus. Enjoy free time to explore Munich on your own.

Optional Day Trip to Innsbruck ($165)

Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol, lies at the very heart of the Austrian Alps. It is famous for its winter sports and has twice been home to the Winter Olympics.

Take a walking tour of the picturesque city center and see 16th and 17th century Baroque buildings with the impressive Nordkette Mountains as a stunning backdrop where you will tour sites including the 14th century Stadturm, the Goldenes Dachl (Golden Roof), the Triumph Gate and the “Hofburg”, the residence of the Habsburgs in Innsbruck. Then enjoy free time to explore Innsbruck for yourself.

Students must enroll and pay for the optional excursions in the U.S. by the final payment deadline. If a minimum enrollment of 15 is not achieved, the tour may be cancelled. Once paid for excursions are non-refundable except in the event of cancellation.
