Ask Alumni Sign-Up

Thank you for your interest in talking to students who are considering studying abroad! Students generally have questions about housing, food, local travel, and what life is like abroad – questions that you can usually answer better than we can. If you get any questions that you are not sure how to answer, please forward the email to us at and we will respond to the student.

There are two ways for students to reach you:

  • 1.

    A student goes to the 'ask alumni' page on their portal, where they see a list of alumni who went on their program, or attended their home university. They use an embedded email form to contact you. They will see your name, your university, and the AIFS program you attended, but not your contact information.

  • 2.

    A student asks their Admissions Officer to speak to an alumnus. The Admissions Officer sends you an email with the student’s information and asks you to reach out to them, or copies you on an email they send directly to the interested student.

You will appear on the Ask Alumni list until two years after your graduation. If you wish to be removed before then, if you switch to a different email address, or if you have any questions, please let us know at
