AIFS Abroad offers a unique global educational experience for students on this program, with placements and coursework to suit a variety of interests.
If you would like to earn academic credit for your internship and your university does not offer academic credit for your internship, it’s possible that you can receive transfer credit through our School of Record, Fairfield University.
AIFS Abroad interns have the option to receive up to 12 credits during a full summer or semester program, which is done through credit-bearing internships and online coursework. AIFS Abroad is able to share detailed syllabi to both students and advisors upon request.
There is an additional fee for full-time interns to enroll in AIFS Abroad Internship Coursework.
Transcripts will include Fairfield letter grade and credit. Your university academic advisor or study abroad advisor will determine how the credit transfers back for your coursework.
