Learning does not begin or end in the classroom. To help you get a true taste of Turkish life, the AIFS Resident Director organizes activities both on campus and in Istanbul and the surrounding area such as:

  • Welcome Party
  • Walking Tours
  • Visits to:
    • Hagia Sofia
    • Topkapi Palace
    • Blue Mosque
    • Local beaches
  • Boat trip on the Bosphorus

Boğaziçi University has a beach on the Black Sea, half an hour away by bus.

Please note that students may be asked to pay a small additional fee for some of the activities above.

Sports

Boğaziçi University campus has an indoor swimming pool and fitness center as well as a sports complex.
