Study Abroad in Granada: Program Fees

Fees include:

  • Tuition (includes a maximum of 20 semester credits, subject to course selection)
  • Orientation program (5 credits in Fall, 4 credits in Spring)
  • Housing and three meals every day in a Spanish home or housing in a student residence for a supplement with three meals a day, six days a week
  • Cultural activities such as day trips to Sierra Nevada (fall) or Ronda (spring) and overnight trips to the Costa del Sol, Seville, Cordoba and Gibraltar. Both semesters include guided tours of the Alhambra and Albaicin
  • 3-day London stopover
  • 4-day visit to Madrid and Castile
  • Access to computers and wireless internet connection
  • Services of a pre-departure Student Advisory Center and an on-site Resident Director
  • Pre-departure handbook
  • Phone card on arrival to call the U.S.
  • Round trip airfare if that option is selected
  • Optional 4-day tour to Morocco($395)

Fees with airfare include round trip airfare from selected departure city and transfers to and from campus; they do not include the non-refundable application fee of $95, $475 insurance/assistance package fee, $250 damage deposit and government taxes and airline/airport-related fees and fuel surcharges, currently estimated at $280, but subject to possible increase or decrease depending on the level of charges subsequently imposed from these sources.

Please note that the flight route may require connections in the U.S. or Europe.

Those who provide their own transportation may also participate in the 3-day London stopover, but must make their own way to and from the hotel in London and to campus.Those who provide their own transportation but do not participate in the 3-day London stopover are ineligible for a stopover rebate and are responsible for making their own way to campus by scheduled program start dates.
