Universitat Autònoma Barcelona
The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) was founded in 1968. It is a relatively young university; however, in its short history it has moved forward at a rapid pace. AIFS students will attend classes at the beautiful historical pavilions of the Sant Pau campus. The Sant Pau Campus is located in the historic UAB-Casa Convalescència building, which is part of the "Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau," in the central area of the city known as "Eixample." Although most academic year courses are taught in Catalan, the Study Abroad Department offers an excellent summer program of Spanish language classes taught in Spanish.
