Michelle Walters, an assistant director at the AIFS San Francisco office, recently returned from a 10-day volunteer project in Haiti through Hands On Disaster Response, a non-profit organization that sends volunteers from around the world to natural disaster sites.

Through another AIFS division, Academic Year in America (AYA), American families have the unique opportunity to host exchange students from around the world for five or ten months. The AYA program not only enriches your family, but also makes the dream of an international student come true.
