Student Blog: American Werewoulfe in Limerick

Meaghan Woulfe, a former AIFS student in Limerick, enjoyed her study abroad experience so much that she remained at the University of Limerick to complete her undergraduate degree, and she will begin her Master's degree in International Studies there this fall. Disaster Relief in Haiti

Michelle Walters, an assistant director at the AIFS San Francisco office, recently returned from a 10-day volunteer project in Haiti through Hands On Disaster Response, a non-profit organization that sends volunteers from around the world to natural disaster sites.

Work or Volunteer Abroad after College

Host an AYA High School Exchange Student

Has your family considered hosting a high school foreign exchange student? Through another AIFS division, Academic Year in America (AYA), American families have the unique opportunity to host exchange students from around the world for five or ten months. The AYA program not only enriches your family, but also makes the dream of an international student come true.

AYA is also looking for temporary arrival families to host for 4-6 weeks in August and September.
