Students can travel easily throughout Ireland from Limerick. Dublin, Galway and Cork are each about two hours away. Shannon airport is 16 miles from Limerick, making flights to other European cities highly accessible.

Saturday, May 29 The Limerick City tour takes you to St. John's Castle, built in the 11th century and the centerpiece of Limerick's historic area. Next is St. Mary's Cathedral, located on the banks of the River Shannon, with many relics dating from the days of the siege of Limerick in 1691.
