In addition to the courses listed here, AIFS students may choose to take regular courses at the University (taught in English) along with Indian students. Over 200 courses are offered every semester by different departments or schools of the University. For a full list of available courses, please contact the AIFS Admissions Officer. Traditional Program

The traditional program consists of SIP courses specially designed for Study Abroad students and regular University courses (taught in English) along with Indian students. In addition, students with a specific interest in a topic can request an Independent Study. This will be considered based on a proposal written by the student, and availability of the appropriate faculty member. Students are required to take at least one University course a semester.

The School of Management and the School of Information Sciences offer many specialized courses each semester. Depending on prerequisites, students may be able to take courses such as:

Independent Study

An Independent Study works exactly like a regular University course in terms of course outline, number of credits, and academic requirements. The student will submit a proposal on a topic of their interest and if accepted, will work one-on-one with the professor on the course. Some of these may require prerequisites.
