Study Abroad in Paris: Overview

Program at a glance

• 4 or 6 week summer study abroad program in Paris, France
• Open to high school graduates, college freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors
• No previous French language study required
• Program fee includes tuition, housing, meal allowance, London stopover, excursions and cultural activities, optional trip to the Loire Valley, airfare if selected, and more
• 4-week students typically earn up to 6 credits, 6-week students typically earn up to 8 credits. Additional credits are available for students seeking a more intense academic schedule
• Courses in French language, civilization and art history, plus optional wine tasting, cuisine and fashion classes at other institutions
• The local AIFS Resident Director and staff organize cultural activities and housing, act as a liaison between students and the university, and are available 24/7 in case of emergencies
  
• Transcripts issued by the Cours de Civilisation Française de la Sorbonne

Application and scholarship deadlines

• Applications must be postmarked or submitted online by April 1, 2008. Applications received after this date are subject to a $200 late fee.
• AIFS Study Abroad Scholarships available. The scholarship deadline is March 1, 2008.
