French Language and Culture Program
The University of Grenoble was founded in 1339 and now welcomes more than 50,000 students. Grenoble is one of the most sought-after universities in France and has an international reputation for excellence. The University occupies a splendid campus on the outskirts of Grenoble at Saint-Martin-d’Hères. The University of Grenoble Stendhal specializes in languages and letters. Foreign students at the University are enrolled in the Centre Universitaire d’Ètudes Françaises.
This program is for students with at least one recent year of college French. Courses are taught at the Centre Universitaire d’Etudes Françaises (CUEF) at the University of Grenoble School of Languages and Letters. The program concentrates on French language and culture and offers courses, taught in both English and French, in art history, business administration, economics, history, literature and political science, plus French language.
