Miranda Rea spent a year in Zambia, Africa, as a volunteer and teacher before attending North Staffordshire Polytechnic in England. After receiving her degree, she worked with AIFS programs in London before transferring in 1989 to Paris to coordinate AIFS Partnership Programs. From 1990-94 she was Social and Cultural Coordinator for the AIFS program at the Sorbonne. She has been Director of the Grenoble program since the fall of 1994.

The Resident Director provides academic advice, introduces you to the community and handles communication with the University.
