Study Abroad in Cannes: Student Life
The AIFS Resident Director supervises all aspects of the program for students, provides academic advising and acts as a liaison between the students and the Collège on all matters. A diverse student body at the Collège provides AIFS students with a stimulating international environment.
Cultural activities
The Collège offers several day trips and two half days of sightseeing each month of summer school. Students can use the volleyball facilities at the Collège and swim at the beach. They can play tennis nearby, and for an extra cost go sailing and waterskiing. Trips are made to the most famous places in the region such as the Principality of Monaco or Saint Tropez. Students also get the opportunity to visit more remote, enchanting areas, such as the medieval, fortified village of Saint Paul de Vence, considered one of the most beautiful French villages and well-known for its art galleries and the Maeght Foundation Museum.
Échange langue club
Students meet with local French people for conversational exchange and language practice. Participants meet an average of eight hours a week—half conversing in French, half in the students’ native languages. Not available for beginners.
