Summer Internships in London: Program Fees
Fees include:
- Tuition (includes 9 semester credits)
- Internship placement in London
- Housing in twin and triple rooms in the University residence hall in Kensington
- Breakfast and dinner Monday through Friday in the University cafeteria for the first 9 weeks and an allowance to subsidize meals for the final 3 weeks (low cost lunches and weekend meals can be purchased at nearby restaurants)
- Subsidized cultural activities such as visits to historical sites, museums, concerts and plays
- Services of a pre-departure Student Advisory Center and an on-site Resident Director
- Services of the Richmond Internship Office, advice and workshops on resumé presentation and interview skills
- Pre-departure handbook
- Phone card on arrival to call the U.S.
- Round trip airfare if that option is selected
- Optional weekend visit to Paris for a supplement of $595

The Program fee without airfare does not include the non-refundable $95 application fee, required insurance/assistance package fee of $310, and a refundable damage deposit of $250. AIFS guarantees that these fees will not increase.
The Program fee with airfare does not include the above reference fees/deposit. Additionally, it does not include airline and airport related taxes and fuel surcharges currently estimated to be $420. AIFS guarantees that the airfare and airline/airport-related fees and surcharges will not increase beyond this estimate, even in the event of the assessment of additional fees by these entities.

Transfers to and from campus are included for students who have booked their flights with AIFS, but only on the scheduled arrival/departure dates and from the local airport. You may return on a different date and/or from an alternate return city for an additional fee if you apply by March 15, 2009. |
