Study Abroad in London: Housing & Meals
Students live in central London, close to the campus and the famous Kensington Gardens and West End theater district. Accommodations are in double and triple rooms in University approved residence halls. Since housing is usually in traditional buildings not originally designed to be dormitories, rooms and showers in the older buildings may be smaller than students expect.
Visit Richmond's website for photos and more housing details: www.richmond.ac.uk/content/admissions/study-abroad-at-richmond/accommodation.aspx.
For an additional fee, students may choose to live in a single room in the University residence halls or in a shared room in a nearby studio apartment. Single rooms and studios are available on a limited basis and must be requested and paid for by the program application deadline. Please contact the AIFS Admissions Office for further details.
AIFS always arranges the best accommodation available for students. Changes in housing will be considered only in the event of health and safety issues.
Ten meals a week in the student cafeteria are included, credited on smart cards. Extra meals can be purchased in the canteen in Atlantic House for a subsidized student price and Kensington has many food establishments where students can purchase food or eat out.
