Study Abroad in Prague: Housing and Meals

The Masarykova Kolej residence is conveniently located within walking distance of parks, stores, restaurants, grocery stores and the metro station. You will reside in a double room which has two beds, chairs, two wardrobes, two desks with drawers, two lamps, and a phone. A kitchenette with a small fridge, a sink, and a hotplate is usually shared by two rooms. There is one private bathroom per suite; it is shared by four people.

AIFS always arranges the best accommodation available for students. Changes in housing will be considered only in the event of health and safety issues.

You will receive a meal allowance to subsidize breakfast and lunch or dinner Monday through Friday. You can purchase meals at the University cafeterias, local Czech restaurants, or cook at home. Please note: the allowance is a subsidy and will not cover the cost of meals in expensive restaurants.
