Wednesday, June 3 Overnight flight from U.S. to Beijing.
Thursday, June 4 Arrive Beijing. Transfer to student hotel.
Friday, June 5 Morning orientation and tour of Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU). Afternoon class.
Saturday, June 6 Beijing City Tour, including visit to Forbidden City and Tian An Men Square.
Sunday, June 7 Visit to Great Wall of China. Evening get together and forum with BLCU students.
Monday, June 8 Morning class. Afternoon visit to the Hutongs.
Tuesday, June 9 Morning class. Afternoon visit to Summer Palace, followed by early evening at Lao She Tea House.
Wednesday, June 10 Morning class. Check out of hotel. Evening departure for Xian by train.
Thursday, June 11 Early morning arrival in Xian. Begin excursion which includes, over two days, Terra-Cotta Warriors, Shaanxi Museum, City Wall, First Emperor Qin Shi Huang Tomb, Big Goose Pagoda and Calligraphy Tomb Forest.
Friday, June 12 Continuation of tour in Xian. Evening train back to Beijing arriving early Saturday morning.
Saturday, June 13 Check back into hotel by 12 noon. Balance of day in Beijing.
Sunday, June 14 Morning departure for flight from Beijing to Nanjing. Transfer to student housing. Afternoon orientation. Evening welcome dinner.
Monday, June 15 Morning class. Afternoon visit to the Zhan Garden and Museum of Taiping Uprising.
Tuesday, June 16 Morning class. Afternoon visit to Dr. Sun-Yat Sen’s Mausoleum.
Wednesday, June 17 Morning class. Afternoon free.
Thursday, June 18 Morning class. Afternoon visit to Xixia Mountain.
Friday, June 19 Morning class. Afternoon visit to Museum of Nanjing Massacre.
Saturday, June 20 Morning visit to Yangtze River. Afternoon free.
Sunday, June 21 Morning departure from Nanjing by bus for Hangzhou (capital of Zhejiang Province). Afternoon arrival at Hangzhou and transfer to student hotel.
Monday, June 22 Morning tour of Hangzhou (“Heaven on Earth”) including Ling yin Temple and afternoon visit to West Lake.
Tuesday, June 23 Morning visit to a tea plantation. Afternoon business visit in Hangzhou.
Wednesday, June 24 Morning transfer to Shanghai. Afternoon city tour including Yuan Garden, the Bund, and the Nanjing Road. Evening arrival at student accommodation.
Thursday, June 25 Morning class. Afternoon business visit.
Friday, June 26 Morning class. Afternoon visit to Oriental Pearl T.V. Tower.
Saturday, June 27 Day excursion to Suzhou (“Paradise on Earth”) including Humble Administrator’s Garden.
Sunday, June 28 Free day in Shanghai.
Monday, June 29 Morning class. Afternoon visit to Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center.
Tuesday, June 30 Morning class. Afternoon visit to a joint venture company. Evening farewell dinner and River Boat Ride.
Wednesday, July 1 Morning class. Afternoon free.
Thursday, July 2 Departure from Shanghai to the U.S.
