Study Abroad in China: Program Fees

Fees include:

  • Tuition (includes a maximum of 6 semester credits, subject to course selection)
  • Internal flight between Beijing and Nanjing
  • Accommodation and daily breakfast in student residences and tourist-class hotels (2 or 3 star)
  • Excursions to Great Wall of China, Xian and Suzhou
  • Welcome dinners in Beijing and Nanjing, farewell dinner in Shanghai and lunches on Xian and Suzhou excursions
  • Accompanying faculty and specialist lecturers
  • Cultural activities in Beijing, Nanjing and Shanghai
  • Services of a pre-departure Student Advisory Center
  • Pre-departure handbook
  • Phone card on arrival to call the U.S.

Fees with airfare include round trip airfare from selected departure city and transfers to and from campus; they do not include the non-refundable application fee of $95, $310 insurance/assistance package fee, $250 damage deposit and government taxes and airline/airport-related fees and fuel surcharges, currently estimated at $360, but subject to possible increase or decrease depending on the level of charges subsequently imposed from these sources. Transfers to and from campus are included for students who have booked their flights with AIFS, but only on the scheduled arrival/departure dates and from the local airport.
