Study Abroad in Nanjing: Academics

This program is open to students in good standing (2.5 minimum GPA).

Course load Between 13 and 16 credits is recommended. All students take beginner, intermediate or advanced Mandarin (6 credits) and Chinese Cultural History (4 credits) plus one or both of the other two courses available.

Assessment/transcripts Students take exams in all courses. Transcripts are issued by Nanjing University.

Classes meet for approximately 14 weeks.

Student advising The AIFS Resident Director and staff in the Institute for International Students are available for student academic advising.

Attendance is mandatory. Students absent from class without prior authorization may receive lower or failing grades.
