See “Travel” section for full details and alternate return date options. Transfers to and from campus are included for students who have booked their flights with AIFS, but only on the scheduled arrival/departure dates and from the local airport. You may return on a different date for an additional fee if you apply by March 15, 2009.

Students planning to make their own flight arrangements to and from Australia should note that the program starts in Sydney and ends in Cairns. Students should ensure that their outbound flight from the U.S. is into Sydney airport and their return flight from Australia to the U.S. is from Cairns airport. A one-way internal flight from Sydney to Cairns on June 25 is included in the program fee, but if students choose to fly home from Sydney they must make their own arrangements for getting from Cairns to Sydney at the end of the program. Own Travel students are not guaranteed to be booked on the same internal flight as students who have booked flights with AIFS.
